Seminar on E-Commerce and Information Technology for Laos Successfully Held

On May 16-29, the "Laos E-commerce and Information Technology Training Course", sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by CIFAL Shanghai, was successfully held in Shanghai.

CIFAL Shanghai fully utilizes the achievements of talent education and training accumulated over the years and the experience of undertaking foreign aid training work, presenting exciting professional content to students, including new opportunities and trends in e-commerce development, e-commerce innovation based on information technology, deep integration of e-commerce and the real economy, and the development of e-commerce support service systems (including logistics, payment, etc.) in recent years.

The training class arranged for students to inspect advanced domestic e-commerce industrial parks, information technology comprehensive solution providers, e-commerce security providers, etc., including Shanghai Xinghuan Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Guan'an Information Technology Co., Ltd., Hankou North E-commerce Demonstration Base, Wuhan Huanqiu Yunlian Network Technology Co., Ltd., Wuhan Hankou Letao Interactive Entertainment Live Base, Wuhan JDAsia No.1, etc.

The training course also includes an introduction to China's national conditions and Chinese culture, to introduce the beautiful and brilliant Chinese culture to the students. In addition, we also prepared a wealth of after-school activities for everyone to experience, visited the Bund of Shanghai, Nanjing Road Walkway, Shanghai center, Yellow Crane Tower, etc., and visited Hubei Nongkele Modern Agriculture Co., Ltd. in Jiangxia District, Wuhan, to learn about China's poverty alleviation and rural revitalization practices.

After 14 days of study, the students not only learned relevant professional knowledge and gained experience in the development of e-commerce in China, but also had discussions with Chinese experts on the main issues of current e-commerce development, security issues of e-commerce in the digital era, and environmental creation. At the same time, I also personally feel the achievements of China's e-commerce development and experience the changes brought to social life by the vigorous development of e-commerce and information technology. After the end of the class, the students expressed their gratitude for the training opportunities provided by the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, as well as for the enthusiasm and meticulousness of the team.

This training course was attended by 18 students from five departments: the Planning and Cooperation Department of the Lao Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Lao Ministry of Science and Technology and Communications, the Lao Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Lao Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, and the Lao China Cooperation Committee Office.
