CIFAL Shanghai successfully completed three online foreign aid training projects in May

In May 2023, CIFAL Shanghai successfully completed three online foreign aid training projects sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China.

The "Information Technology Application Training Course" was held from May 10-23, 2023. Focusing on the theme of information technology application, the course introduced the development of information technology to students, shared the experience of comprehensive application of information technology in China and the concepts of information planning and management in China, and jointly looked forward to the future development trends of information technology.

The "Regional Economic Planning and Development Seminar" was held from May 12th to 25th, 2023, focusing on the theme of regional economic planning and development. Participants shared practical experience in the process of regional economic planning and development, interpreted China's efforts to promote regional economic development and integration, as well as the development and strategies of typical regional economic belts in China, including the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, Beijing Tianjin Hebei Economic Circle, etc, And prospects were made for the development of regional economy in the new era.

The "Geographic information science Seminar for Developing Countries" was held from May 18 to 31, 2023. Focusing on the application and management of Geographic information science and technology, and spatial data, it shared with the participants the experience and achievements gained in the development and application of Geography of China's geographic Information science, helping them expand and deepen the breadth and depth of Geographic information science applications.

The three foreign aid training programs are all conducted online, with various forms such as special lectures, exchange discussions, case studies, and cloud visits. Through courses such as introducing China's national conditions and cultural experiences, students have experienced the charm of traditional Chinese culture and the vitality of China's current development.

73 trainees from 16 countries including Uzbekistan, Ghana, Mauritius, Kenya, Botswana, Zambia, Malawi, Samoa, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Tunisia participated in the three online foreign aid training projects.
