The closing ceremony of Seminar on Geographic Information System of Venezuela in 2018 was held in Shanghai on July 6, 2018. The seminar was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center.

The closing ceremony was hosted by the standing deputy director of CIFAL Shanghai, Mr. WuYugang. Ms. Liu Beimin, the deputy division chief of the Foreign Economic Department of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Mr. Wang Genxiang, the Director of CIFAL Shanghai, Mr. Francisco Zaragoza, Deputy Consul-General of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela consulate in Shanghai, and Mr. William Jesus Rincones Azavache of Venezuela's Planning Ministry made closing ceremony speech.

Mrs. Liu Beimin congratulated all the participants complete course and praised the friendly relations between Venezuela and China, she hopes all participants could help others understand more about China after they back home. Mr. Wang Genxiangon behalf of CIFAL Shanghai expressed the warmest congratulations to all of the participants for their successful graduated with excellent grades. And he mentioned that the 21-day seminar was a short time but the friendship between China and Venezuela would last forever. He expected that the achievements from this seminar would be applied to all participates’ future works. Mr. Francisco Zaragoza and Mr. William Jesus Rincones Azavache on behalf of Venezuela and all participates gave their sincere appreciation to all lecturers, enterprises and staffs from CIFAL Shanghai. They pointed out that this professional program would help them to move forward with more efficient processes to develop their geographic information system sector. They also mentioned that the seminar provided them with many opportunities to get closer relationship and mutual understanding of People’s Republic of China and Chinese culture. 

After the closing speech, Mrs. Liu Beimin, Mr. Wang Genxiang and Mr. Francisco Zaragoza presented the certificates and small gifts to all participants. Venezuelan participants displayed traditional costumes and performed traditional dances. At the end of closing ceremony, all participants took a group photo with CIFAL Shanghai staffs.
