The opening ceremony of Seminar on Informatization and Urban Development of Developing Countries in 2018 was held in Shanghai on 11th July, which is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of China and organized by CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center.
Firstly, all the participants from 12 countries introduced themselves for increasing understanding each others. Standing Deputy Director of CIFAL Shanghai, Mr. WU Yugang delivered the speech on behalf of CIFAL Shanghai. He expressed the warm welcome to the participants and indicated that the CIFAL Shanghai has extensive foreign-aid training experience. CIFAL Shanghai will present a seminar with rich contents, thoughtful schedule arrangement and interesting lecture design as always.
Mr. Giorgi Pareshishvili, Deputy Mayor from Poti City Hall of Georgia delivered the speech on behalf of all participants to express the sincere gratitude to Ministry of Commerce of China and CIFAL Shanghai for the meticulous work.
Deputy Division Chief of Foreign Economic Division of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Ms. LIU Beimin delivered the speech on behalf of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce. She expressed the warm welcome to the participants. And then she introduced the development of Shanghai, especially the remarkable achievement in Shanghai’s urban construction and social public service development. At the last, Ms. Liu hoped that this seminar could bring some inspirations for the development of their countries in the Informatization and Urban Development.
At last，all the guests and participants took a group photo for a precious memory. The opening ceremony was hosted by Ms. Wang Kemin, Deputy Director of CIFAL Shanghai. Totally 34 officials from the 12 countries attend this seminar.
