HP Learning Initiative For Entrepreneurs (HP LIFE) Training Program, the public benefit SYB training program sponsored by HP Corporation, developed by UNIO, MEA-I and EDC, and presented by CIFAL Shanghai, was kicked off in College of Finance of Shanghai Normal University (SHNU) on March 21st 2012. Mr. Huang Yikuan, deputy director of CIFAL Shanghai, and leaders of SHNU, as Mr. Bai hua, vice minister of Students Affairs Department, Mr. Han Gang, director of Career Development Education and Service Center, and Mr. Hu Yangqiao, secretary of Youth League Affairs Department of Business College, attended the opening ceremony.
HP LIFE is a global program that trains students, potential entrepreneurs and small business owners to harness the power of IT to establish and grow their businesses. Face-to-face trainings and online tools are contained in the program to address the educational needs of people, improve and strengthen their skills and enable them to move forward. Participants of SHNU taking part in the on-campus selective trials of 2012 "The Challenge Cup" Business Plan Competition for University Students Nationwide (hereinafter referred to as "the Competition") were attracted by the opening ceremony, including 30 postgraduates, undergraduates and teachers from various SHNU colleges. The first lecture on Business Marketing Plan of HP-LIFE was given by Mr. Huang Yikuan after the ceremony.
HP-LIFE courses are the early learning training program for HP Entrepreneurs, which aim to provide entrepreneurship training for university graduates, to encourage entrepreneurs and small business owners to establish and develop innovation, business starting-up and new business opportunities with information technology. Imaging, planning, starting, growing-up and innovation are the five phases of business starting-up which are contained in the whole training.
Featuring experience, interact and case study, the training courses focus on business planning in entrepreneurship. It will bring great benefit to the participant in their preparation of formulating and perfecting business planning for the Competition with the lectures, case study and team work exercises.
