On the morning of May 15, 2018, Mr. Angus Mackay, the director of the Division for Planet of the United Nations Institute for Training and Research, visited CIFAL Shanghai international training center. Mr. Wang Genxiang, director of the training center,warmly welcomed Mr. Angus Mackay’s visit.

The two sides exchanged views on the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in Shanghai in November this year and discussed the specific dates, scales and issues of the conference. Mr. Angus Mackay also proposed a joint training program with CIFAL Shanghai, like waste treatment technology and operation management training courses. Furthermore, Mr. Angus Mackay expressed willingness to carry out more in-depth communication to cooperate with CIFAL Shanghai and increase the registration rate in China of the UNCC learning platform launched by the United Nations Institute of Training and Research . Director Wang Genxiang looked forward to further cooperation with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research in various aspects,and sincerely invited Mr. Angus Mackay to visit CIFAL Shanghai again. Mr. Wu Yugang,deputy director of the training center, participated in the talks.
