On the morning of 20th April 2018，the 2018 Global CEO Development Conference was sponsored by UNIDO and UNITAR at area 2, ground floor of The River Mall, No.1368 Expo Avenue, Shanghai International Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Center (China Industry Upgrading Network Conference Center) successfully. The theme of the 2018 Global CEO Conference is "Chinese manufacturing and enterprises go global". The conference is composed of the opening ceremony, award, signing ceremony and TV forum. This conference was the main activity of the 6th China China(ShangHai) International Technology Fair UNIDO Theme Day.
The open ceremony was host by Mr. LONG Yongtu, the Good will ambassador of UNIDO, former Chinese vice minister of Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation. Mr. LI Yong,Director General of UNIDO, Mr. LI Yizhong, Former Minister of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Mr. XI Minglong, Board Chairman of Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center, Mr. Zong Qinghou,Chairman of the board of directors of Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co.,Ltd.
UNIDO has long supported the industrial development of China and Shanghai. Since 2001, the UNIDO Shanghai International information technology promotion center was established.Shanghai International Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Center aimed to dock ‘Made in China 2025’ and ‘2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development’ to promote Intelligent Manufacturing Technology for Chinese small and medium-sizedmanufacturing industry to improve the manufacturing efficiency and competitiveness.
Then, Mr. LI Yong and Mr. Li Yizhong together unveiled the plaque of the Shanghai International Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Center.
During the conference, the UNIDO Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center signed cooperation agreement with Tongji University Design and Creative College to setup ‘UNIDO Global Science and Technology Innovation Network Industry Design Service Center’. And to promote Northeast Area of China industry update, The Shanghai Innovation Center signed cooperation agreement with Guohong Ronghe Science and Technology Innovation Co.Ltd. to set up Global Science and Technology Innovation Network Shenyang Center.
At the TV Forum, Mr. ZONG Qinghou, Chairman of the board of directors of Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co.,Ltd,Mrs. ZHANG Ying, General Manager of HuaJian Group and Mr. TANG Jun, Chairman of the board of directors of Wicrecend Co., Ltd, former general manager of Microsoft China had deep dialogue with the host Mr. LONG Yongtu on the theme of this conference.
The 2018 Global CEO Conference was supported by China Center for International Economic Exchanges and Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center, set up in the frame of a project implemented by UNIDO. And supported by Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, China International Center for Economic and Technology Exchanges, Shanghai Global Science and Technology Innovation Center, Hangzhou Wahaha Group Co.Ltd, Shanghai Outstanding Contribution Expert Association. And promoted by Shanghai International Intelligent Manufacturing Promotion Center, CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center, Yasi Culture Communication (Shanghai) Co., Ltd and China Industry Upgrading Network. Nearly 500 entrepreneurs, government officialsand media representatives attended the conference.
