The opening ceremony of the Seminar on e-Government and Information Technology for Guyana in 2017 is held in International Innovation Base, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences(SASS) on July 12, 2017. The seminar is sponsored by Chinese Ministry of Commerce and organized by CIFAL Shanghai International Training Center affiliated to United Nations Institute for Training and Research. Ms. LIU Beimin, the deputy division chief of Department of Foreign Economic Cooperation of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, Mr. WU Yugang, deputy director of CIFAL Shanghai and Mr. Francis Oliver Simmons, the participant representative, general manager of Guyana national data management authority make opening speech respectively. 20 participants from Guyana attend the 20 days seminar.
