10 Jun 2014 The 2nd China- aid Training Seminar on Informatization and Urban Development for Officials from Latin America, Caribbean and South Pacific Countries come to an conclusion. Mr. WANG Genxiang gave his best wishes to all participants, hoping their newly acquired knowledge will benefit countries.

Participant representative Ms. Dixon Carey-Lee Tiffinany expressed all participants’ gratitude to CIFAL staff for their hospitality and expertizing and she confirmed that they also benefit greatly from each other by exchanging appetences and business contacts.

The second seminar sponsored by Ministry of Commerce and organized by CIFAL Shanghai attracted 10 participants who are officials or experts in information industries from Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Mexico, Uruguay, Chile, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Dominic, Grenada, Suriname, Jamaica, Papua & New Guinea, Fiji, and Micronesia.

CIFAL Shanghai has arranged abundant courses and lectures covering topics including Current Situation and Future of Informatization Development in Shanghai, Internet Technology and Smart City, Urban Planning and Information Communication, Informatization and Urban Life, Informatization and Global Cooperation, Index of Urban Informatization. Participants were also organized to visit Chengdu, Sichuan Province and Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province to gain overall current situation of informatization, urban development and construction of “Smart City”.
