Dr. Daniel Papp, President of Kennesaw State University meet with CIFAL Shanghai

On May 18th 2012, Dr. Daniel Papp, President of Kennesaw State University, and his 3 delegates visited Shanghai. Mr. WANG Genxiang, director of CIFAL Shanghai, and Mr. WU Yugang, standing deputy director, met and had a friendly conversation with them.

Dr. Daniel Papp provided a brief introduction of Kennesaw State University. Kennesaw State University is a public comprehensive university, famous for its high qualified education. It is housed with 9 colleges, and among them the colleges of Education, Management of Administration and Nursing are in the leading position of their kinds in the country. Moreover, its EMBA program, under the Coles College of Business, is recognized by “the Princeton Review”among the best in the United States, and by AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) as one of the top colleges offering Entrepreneurship classes with a focus on Family Business. Kennesaw State University is the partner of CIFAL Atlanta, a member of UNITAR CIFAL Network.

Mr. WANG introduced the domestic and international training network and project cooperations of CIFAL Shanghai with UN organizations, regional and local governments, research institutions, and enterprises. Mr WANG showed his sincerity to provide the greatest assistance and support to the collaboration with their potential partners of Kennesaw State University in China.

Dr. Daniel Papp appreciated the thoughtful arrangement and the achievement CIFAL Shanghai has made in terms of the width of training network and and project coverage. He also expressed his wishes to further the talks and to carry out co-operation in the fields of ICT, conflict management, innovation and development, environment protection and sustainable development, as well as smart city construction.
