Director WANG Genxiang and Deputy Director WU Yugang of CIFAL Shanghai were invited to attend the E-Government International Sseminar  sponsored by UNTAR, CIFAL Plock on April 25th, 2012. and made a keynote speech to introduce the current situation of the development of Shanghai Information Society, and the plan of Shanghai. smart city.

Andrzej Nowakowski, Mayor of the city Plock had welcome dinner for Shanghai delegation. And Shanghai delegation held friendly talks with Krzysztof Buczkowski, Vice Mayor of Plock. Director Genxiang Wang introduced the urban development process and sustainable strategic planning of Shanghai's reform in past 30 years, and invited them to attend the 2012 Global City Informatization Forum which will hold in Shanghai in October this year. They were interested in Shanghai's reform and urban development, and congratulated on the great success achieved by Shanghai's economic and social, and welcome Shanghai enterprises to invest in Plock. Vice Mayor Krzysztof Buczkowski gladly accepted the invitation to attend the 2012 Global City Informatization Forum.

CIFAL Shanghai visited the new office of CIFAL Plock and had a friendly meeting. The two CIFAL center's introduced their own training programs and development of ideas respectively, and jointly to take full advantage of the CIFAL Network’s international platform to strengthen cooperation. CIFAL Shanghai and CIFAL Plock signed a strategic cooperation agreement in the field of environmental protection, investment strategy, e-government, and actively cooperate in training programs.
