On 27th Oct. 2011, Amb. Dal-ho Chung, director of CIFAL Jeju, and his accompanist visited CIFAL Shanghai. Mr. Wu Yugang, the standing deputy director of CIFAL Shanghai, showed Amb. Chuang around, and had a friendly conversation.

As members of CIFAL Network in UNITAR located in Asia, both parties communicated pleasantly about workshops, exchanged views frankly, and shared experiences to seek the development prospect together.  During the visit and conversation, Amb. Chung learned the daily work, organization chart and operation mechanism of CIFAL Shanghai in detail, and asked about the China Aid training programmes and the future plan. Guiding by the government, CIFAL Shanghai is having a deep-going international cooperation with UNITAR, which was highly admired. Both parties had great hope in future cooperation and communication, and indicated to share resources, enhance mutual understanding, establish cooperation relationships and develop together, so as to contribute to boost the urban construction and development in developing countries.

During the trip in Shanghai, Amb. Chung also visited Shanghai Internet Economy Consulting Center (SIECC) and the Information Research Institution of Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences.
